Customer Focus: Cavistons of Glassthule

From humble beginnings to a modern gastro delight set in the borough of Dun Laoghaire, Cavistons is setting very highest standards, and leading the way with its fabulous fresh sea food and locally sourced ingredients.

When we received the call from the team at Cavistons we were, needless to say, absolutely excited and determined to deliver the very best product range we could to match the standard of the interior and kitchen space. We could see from the start, that standards of the very highest nature were the order of the day. The restaurant is designed and furnished with beautiful interiors, and state of the art furniture and delph ware. A challenge for the very best of hygiene supplies companies.

Initially our sales manager called and accessed the requirement for both hygiene and associated products. We knew that no stone would be left unturned by head chef Alison and her team. We carried out our initial survey and made recommendations for products that were sensitive to delivering the very best results, but that also work well on the sensitive surfaces, be that the leather bunk seating or the beautifully stained wooden flooring.

During the install we placed wall charts for health and safety alongside a sprinkling of bottle cages that would house and place the products safely and conveniently for staff, as and when they are needed. From there we have carried out several site visits and calls to hone the service as is required by the management team. It has been a real pleasure to work with a team that has set the bar so high for their hygiene standards. The other important factor for us as a company, is when we get to visit the restaurant as a customer and sample and feel what its like from the other side of the counter! We were not disappointed, we arrived on a busy valentines weekend and the standard of the food was first class.

We believe that Cavistons has benefited from working with Ward Hygiene and using our Diversey range of hygiene products and systems. We have also benefited from them not only as a customer but we feel that we have gained some new friendships that will last hopefully well into the future and be of mutual benefit to both, just as all business should be.

We wish Nate, Cameron, Alison and the Caviston family the very best in work and life moving forward. We at Ward Hygiene are also a family business and that means everything to us too.
